Have you tried LaPlaya Block Selection Claret 2007? It's a Chilean Boredaux from the Cholchagua Valley, that combines Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvingnon, Petit Verdot and Syrah grapes.
Aged 12 months in French and American oak, LaPlaya Claret is a light bodied red wine with an aroma of blackberries. Try serving it with cream based pasta dishes, beef and pork.
